About this Creature.

This is an example of my top to bottom character creation ability. He began as a plasticene sculpture, that I then used to create a NURBS patch model. Over the course of a year I kept learning and working on character setup, constantly building and rebuilding the animation controls and all the muscle/anatomical deformations. I implemented the same facial rig setup I used on my head, and most recently finally UV mapped and textured him. Although, there are a few more controls I want to add, he has come a long way from that little lump of green clay. Some have commented there's a bit of myself in the design and expressions he ended up with -- I can't imagine, why? :)
